Numba compilation issue with shared advector

with changes introduced on the occasion of adding compatibility with Numba 0.55, weird compilation errors started to pop up in the DPDC and over-the-pole examples. Workaround will be added to the examples soon, but the root of the problem needs to be solved. This is now distilled into a 3-line code added as a unit test: #310
