The machine-readable mapping is used to calculate coverage of the CoST IDS in https://github.com/open-contracting/notebooks-oc4ids/blob/main/OC4IDS_CoST_IDS_Coverage.ipynb

Looking at the diff, I think all that we'd need to do before merging it is to update setup() in conf.py to remove the extra columns from the built versions of the mapping CSVs.
