Akka License Aggreement Change

Lightbend, the company behind the Akka framework is changing Akka's licensing agreement from Apache 2.0 to Business Source License (BSL) 1.1. The Linux Foundation does not accept BSL 1.1 as an acceptable license as it prevents projects from being used in production environments. This license change goes into effect starting with Akka version 2.7+.

A member of the Akka community has forked the Akka source prior to the license change and has submitted the fork as an incubation project to the Apache Foundation under the name Pekko.
