Carbon budget

Should there not be a Carbon budget parameter over time depending on the different scenarios as a part of the policy? Or maybe there is already one in some yaml file?

Thanks for this question, let's clarify:

• for the actual emissions, please use Emissions|*, see definitions/variable/emissions
• for the "budget", i.e., the upper bound either in a specific year or cumulatively over a period, this should be part of the "scenario protocol", i.e., the description of input assumptions, constraints, policy measures, etc. that define the scenario.
