For running project in local, I checked it out quickly, the python path here has default python3. Try installing python2 and keep it at python or python2 path. For example, check the output of command $ python --version . it will give some version of python. The project dependencies are old and are using python2.

This part of error, basically says that its defaulting to python3 Missing parentheses in call to 'print'. Did you mean print(...)? :

Please note that I was able to do npm install successfully, although I agree that the project is pretty old and a lot of dependencies need to be updated.
