Clarification on sequence number within the scheduler policy

The description for /qos/scheduler-policies/scheduler-policy/schedulers/scheduler/config/ says "Sequence number for the scheduler within the scheduler policy. Schedulers are processed from lowest sequence to highest"
It is not clear as how the sequence matters or what does "processing" exactly mean here. Is there an example to illustrate this?
