Openconfig Ethernet Segments no support for multiple interfaces

Hello,
We have a use-case where we may be attaching multiple interfaces to an ethernet segment, is there a reason why the model only supports a single interface per ethernet segment? Are we missing anything in the implementation? Or can the interface/subinterface be converted to a leaf-list?
