I would not recommend the use of the Apache license for artwork. Instead, use one of the licenses specifically designed for creative works: The Creative Commons. I would recommend using CC-BY-SA. Unfortunately, you'll have to get permission from the artwork copyright holder (which, BTW is not referenced in the repository and therefore I cannot contact them).

Using the Apache license is an issue, because it is very specific to software (referring to patent grants), and doesn't protect other freedoms of users of the work (such as trademark issues).
