Why are there not more issues?

Hi fellow coders,

I'm new to open source and would love to contribute to Open edX for Android. However, there's only 5 issues in the issue tracker. Is this project in full development or is it new, what's the deal? Is this project beginner-friendly?

@JingMa87 Our main issue tracker is in JIRA https://openedx.atlassian.net/projects/MA/

It's a bit of a mess but you can filter by Android tickets.

Are you looking for something small to work on? I can try to dig one up for you :)

@BenjiLee That would be awesome! I've programmed desktop apps before working mostly with Swing. Not sure what you think would be doable for me. 😃

I can't seem to access the slack team, I think I need an e-mail address ending in @edx.org. Correct?

You shouldn't need an edx.org email address to access the Slack edx channel.
