android-tools: bbnote not a known command in linux system

adbd is unable to startup due to unknown bbnote command in following startup script

meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-devtools/android-tools/android-tools-conf-configfs/android-gadget-start

bbnote "Setting UDC $(ls /sys/class/udc/ | head -n 1) for USB ADB Gadget usage"

On a system with toybox get the following error

/usr/bin/android-gadget-start: line 9: bbnote: command not found
