Hi, for our internal review process, I am getting feedback that they would like a Word format to review. Is it possible for this github action to produce a doc or docx format? Or if not that, is it possible some other way like through the container? Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply, this issue got lost somehow. Is this still a desired feature? If so, then I'd be happy to add it to our roadmap.

Yes please! It is still an issue at my organization.

You can now use -o docx to generate that format. The document uses pandoc's default template, so it is not styled like a JOSS paper.
