Weburl rule doesn't accept HTTPS protocol...

weburl rule doesn't accept https as when i try to use https://github.com as my weburl it only prints https: but when i try to print http://github.com or github.com it prints it normally without any problems..

Edit: actually, when i use http://github.com as my weburl and then try to visit it on the browser by clicking it redirects me to http//github.com without the :
