Enabling core-dumps in an openshift operator

Description
We are not getting core dumps generated from the operating system in our openshift environment. Could you guide us on the steps to manually update the machine configurations using OpenShift.
The configuration to machine configuration should be done through the MCO operator. We were looking for any help we can get on the steps to achieve this.
