Mac - openstudio launch crashing

jandrish opened this issue · 3 comments

Hi, I am running sketchup 2021 pro on a Mac, and installed the openstudio 1.2.1 using the Extension warehouse. I was unable to use the manager - after I installed openstudio on my Mac there was no file that the extension manager would accept. This seemed to be working fine, I was able to make a model in openstudio, but when I click on the launch openstudio icon, openstudio crashes and I get an error log.

Did you install OpenStudio Application 1.2.1 from this page: https://github.com/openstudiocoalition/OpenStudioApplication/releases/tag/v1.2.1

Are you able to open the OpenStudio Application 1.2.1 outside of SketchUp by double clicking on the OpenStudio Application icon?

Hi, thanks for responding. Yes, I am able to open the OpenStudio App outside of sketchup, and yes, I did get it from the link you provided. There isn't an .rbz file there to use as the plug in to Sketchup, which is why I tried using the warehouse in sketchup.

I did just install the plugin getting the .rbz file from here - https://github.com/openstudiocoalition/openstudio-sketchup-plugin/releases/tag/v1.2.1 and when OpenStudio opens, it immediately crashes like before when I used the warehouse.
