Create blank canvas doesn't work

I wanted to paint some masks but when I click "create canvas" the canvas shows up, and I can see the brush on the canvass. Then the brush gets smaller and smaller and smaller until it shrinks away from sight. Then about a second or two later the canvas disappears completely, and I'm left back to the default position/condition.

Needless to say, while all this is going on I can't click any buttons or draw anything with the brush.

I'm on Auto1111 Vlad fork.
Firefox v113.0.2

Any thoughts?

Someone else mentioned in another thread that if you import a blank canvas first you can paint on that. It's a workaround, but not a fix.
