Version 4 causes Global Search Results to be blank

When the plugin is enabled, global search will return results but clicking on any entry creates an empty tab. Similarly, selecting "show results as list" returns blank.
Global search works normally once Expression Search is disabled and continues to work until Expression Search is re-eabled.

... this is so deep inside TB that it actually took two full working days to find a mechanism to override it that works when new tabs are opened.
