private repository public key access linux

Hello,

I believe the following scenario is of concern to others and hasn't been addressed so far:

• clone private repository through ssh
• linux machine
• maintaining minimum permissions for apache

The issue comes in allowing php to run git commands using generated public keys.
What would be a proper setup?
