Chapter skip not working sometimes

This issue results from a previous forum discussion - find logs attached there.
In a nutshell, this is the issue;
Chapter skips, initiated by buttons on remote or via UI (controls bar or bookmarks view) occassionally cause skip to 00:00:00 with video freezing while the play counter shows increasing every second from 00:00:00 up. From what I see in logs it seems the issue is related to sync between video and audio.
While not sure, I suspect the issue came in with one of the latest OSMC updates. However, could be Kodi related, too. Thre was a similar issue but this is a long time ago.
