Some blocks in Verdugos are still infected by Pasadena buildings

Closed this issue · 0 comments

I removed 111 blocks from the Verdugos task to prevent adding building parts from Pasadena which we missed during the processing of the data. Details below.

While reviewing the Verdugos task today, I noticed that there are still a few buildings from Pasadena. To recap, we have excluded Pasadena for now because of too many buildings parts instead of building footprints. We excluded this in the script ignoring buildings that has a SOURCE=Pasadena. Unfortunately there are buildings that has a different source but from Pasadena, see below:

Highlighted polygon is a building part.

In order to proceed in importing the Verdugos task, I removed them for now to avoid importing building parts. Unfortunately, there were blocks that has both Pasadena buildings and valid footprints from other source.

Magenta - valid footprint, Mossgreen - building parts/Pasadena

I think this is a good compromise for now, we lose several valid buildings but also ensure that we don't import improperly tagged building parts. New task is ready: http://labuildingsimport.com/project/22
