Question regarding the figure-ground diagram

how have you generated the figure-ground diagram at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/osmlab/labuildings/master/la_buildings_screenshot.png ?

I'm looking for a good solution for https://github.com/Microsoft/USBuildingFootprints

Hi @uswoods !

Basically we just cracked up QGIS and turned the fill color to black and took a screenshot. You can do that with the Microsoft data too, but it just takes a while for them to render (because there are so many in a given state).
