Staging - iPad testing: using "back" after searching for sites does not clear the search

Testing with the SMILE iPad on Safari on staging instance.

Steps to reproduce:

1. http://streamwebs-staging.osuosl.org/
2. Click on "Search Sites"
3. In the search bar at the bottom of the map, type a few letters to reduce the # of sites
4. Select a site from the map and go to the site page.
5. Click the back arrow on Safari to return to the "Sites" page.

Result: The previous search info is still displayed.
Expected: Screen is cleared the same as if you clicked on the "Search Sites" button.

This works fine in Chrome and Firefox testing. I also see the same behavior if I just zoom in and select a site off of the map.

Also, if you select from the list and not off of the map, when you go "back" you don't see what the search criteria is anymore, just that the # of sites is limited.
