Investigate replacing puppeteer with playwright

API may be nicer for our use case. Puppeteer has been a bit flaky / unreliable in terms of timeout execution time, though that may be due to the CDP layer rather than puppeteer itself

Curious about this as well. We have a react-native-web app and are looking into using playwright for automation testing, this would be a huge help for us.

There is no update on this issue @cmaycumber . That said, you should be able to use this plugin for your react-native-web app without issue
