Yes. faced the same issue. Was pulling my hair for like 2-3 hours. Then finally get it worked.
You see, files get uploaded but msg error. After this error, try /list boys and see it will show results of the same upload with embedded TD link.

So basically this error is because In your TD, outside sharing is disabled. So files get uploaded but bot faces errors while generating shareable links and thus this error msg
I enabled outside sharing in my TD and it worked fine afterwards.
