Border rules behave strangely

I have this in my rules:

windowrulev2=bordersize 0,fullscreen:1

But it doesn't work with layout=hy3. Even when fullscreen:1, the border remains visible.

After switching back-and-forth between workspaces, the border size will get updated (to 0). But after toggling back from fullscreen, the border remains missing until your refocus to another window.
