Is the app maintained?

@oversecio Is there no update because there is no need for one currently, or because you don't have time anymore?

Since this app is not maintained any longer, try this one:

https://github.com/amnesica/KryptEY
"Android keyboard for secure E2EE communication through the signal protocol in any messenger. Communicate securely and independent, regardless of the legal situation or whether messengers use E2EE"

@pixel2user Thanks!
That app looks great, but it looks very inconvenient to use compared to Oversec: it can only decrypt one message at a time (which must be copied to the clipboard everytime) whereas Oversec decrypts all messages on the screen with a single touch of a button on the screen.
If KryptEY can do it too, I will definitely be more enthusiastic about it.

@schklom - The concept of oversec isn't usable any longer: Android 12 blocks touches to overlayed app #78

@pixel2user Thanks for the warning!
I'm not sure why, but it works well on my Google Pixel 6 with Android 13.
I think either the limitation was misinterpreted to be from AOSP and it was instead a manufacturer limitation, or Google removed that limitation in Android 13.

I never tested Android 12, but oversec works well on my LineageOS Android 11 and my Google Pixel 6 Android 13.
