Settings Configuration from Main Menu do not Persist

If you are the the main menu and change mod configurations, they do not persist when you actually hit "Resume Expedition", and will only persist if changed under the Pause Menu from in game.

This issue seems to only happen when you leave the menu by pressing B on a controller or Esc on a keyboard. If you click Leave Menu, then there is no issue. Since B is how you hit Leave Menu on the controller, this makes it not possible to change settings with a controller in the menu
