Error while updating from 1.3 to 1.4 in OC7

I updatedmozilla_sync from 1.3 to 1.4 in OwnCloud 7.0.2. I used the web interface. After a many hours owncloud only shows this message:

This ownCloud instance is currently being updated, which may take a while.
Please reload this page after a short time to continue using ownCloud.
Contact your system administrator if this message persists or appeared unexpectedly.
Thank you for your patience.

How can I restore owncloud?

Maybe the maintenance mode was not cleared in your config.php? If so just set it to false and it should at least not being in maintenance mode.

@jmaspons: Can you paste your owncloud.log after getting the message?

Yes it was necessary to deactivate the maintenance mode and it works. I think the problem is similar to http://blog.jospoortvliet.com/2014/10/owncloud-stuck-in-upgrade.html
