Feed view isn't refreshed on sync

Steps to reproduce:

Go to the Android news app, sync the state and click on "all unread items"
A list with all unread items appear
Go to your PC, open ownCloud, read some items right in your browser (to verify that there is a new "read state" in your owncloud
go to your Android news app and swipe to the right (to get into the sidebar)
a sync is triggered now and the unread count is updated
swipe to the left (to go back to the unread items view)
this view isn't updated (see picture - left side: 8 unread items but on the right side you only see 4) (in my case new items appear in my RSS feed, but it's the same behaviour with reading items - the already read ones are still there)

Yes, the problem is.. I tought it would be annoying if you scroll through the list (while a sync is made in background) and then suddenly the list is getting refreshed and the app jumps to the top of the list. Or?

Maybe add a overlay "New items are syned - Press to load them" ... see Gmail: If you're inside of a mail and a new one arives it shows you a overlay button on the bottom "load new mail".
