Using pypi version of python-firebase in Heroku causes workers to stall

The version of python-firebase in pypi atm has a really bad bug in it, that I believe was fixed in this commit 2ab187f. When attempting to use it on Heroku, my workers started to stall indefinitely. I can only imagine that this happens in other situations as well. It's probably best to push a new version to pypi.
