Similar to #16/#17 I would appreciate a rough estimation of how zipstream-ng compares to other implementations of zip (streaming but maybe also a non-streaming implementation as a baseline) in terms of cycles and wall clock time (parallelization).
There are apparently way to many other Python projects out there with a very similar scope, for example:
- stdlib zipfile https://docs.python.org/3/library/zipfile.html
- zipfly https://github.com/sandes/zipfly
- stream-zip https://stream-zip.docs.trade.gov.uk/
- python-zipstream https://github.com/arjan-s/python-zipstream
- ZipStream and AioZipStream https://github.com/kbbdy/zipstream
Naturally, not all of them are too relevant anymore but even just a comparison to stdlib and a baseline would be great.
