BCCAQ vs BCCAQv2

Hi all,

I am planning to downscale daily prcp and temperature from CMIP6 gcms and feel this could do the job. I read about the BCCAQ and BCCAQv2 and seems the BCCAQv2 might be better and would like to apply it. i install climdown but i am only getting bccaq.netcdf.wrapper. So how do i install BCCAQv2 or bccaqv2.netcdf.wrapper?

The downscaling method that is available via bcccaq.netcdf.wrapper is BCCAQv2, the method that uses the Quantile Delta Mapping (QDM). You can read more about the difference between the two methods and follow the linked literature here.

This is just the result of an unfortunate naming choice that was never intended to enter the common vernacular. Suffice it to say, ClimDown implements BCCAQv2.
