Status of package?

Hello,

I saw this package, and I was wondering what kind of shape you thought that it is in. I tried to compare some results to output from glmmLasso, but it didn't look right. I think that this would be a huge utility for a bunch of people, given that glmmLasso doesn't seem to be under active development, and it is very slow.
