Problem with decrypting

Dear all, I don't know if this project is still alive, but I've encountered a problem. I'm copying correct key from device
and every time I want to decrypt file I'm getting this info.
HMAC check failed: wrong key, or file corrupted.

It is difficult to say what is wrong without the file, but the message is pretty clear. You've got a bad file or the wrong key
