OAuth 2 Login screen unusable when viewed in Arabic

GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue · 4 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to login to an app client that uses the OAuth UIWebview login on an
account in arabic
2. The grant permissions screen is unusable because of css issues.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

expected: "Allow" button that can be tapped by user
Instead: The "Allow" button is obstructed by the text and not tappable

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This is using the gdata 2.0 api on iOS for iPad. The specific app we're seeing
this in is Web Albums http://www.webalbumsapp.com

See attached image.

Re-filed as internal bug 9193785

Closing since this does not appear to be an issue of the Obj-C library.

I think the issue has been fixed, still the text is shown in arabic language
even though my google account is set to English for all google products. When i
login to google account using safari on iPad there is no issues with language,
only when the authorization prompt is displayed (the one attached) language
changes to locale.this happens not only with "Web Album" app but with others as
well that using authrization.

I will try to reproduce the same with other apps an will update them here.

Thanks.
