The search bar in AC only accepts numeric input for searching UIDs.

That said, I've stopped working on AC in favor of a new piece of software that wraps AC and DumpTool into one utility, called Prism, which I'll be releasing soon.

Ah, excellent. Would it be possible to tranfer already cataloged objects to that?

Great news! We were able to crack the encryption scheme on asset filenames, so everything will be searchable by filename in Prism.

To answer your question directly though, no, you can't transfer them. However, you shouldn't need any manual names now.
