Serial port not working in VMware - Solved

I was trying to use my VM under VMware, by attaching the USB-Serial device to the serial machine.

I was able to read the RX and TX data (like when devices boots up), but not able to enter programming.

I solved the issue by creating a new "Serial port" in the "Virtual Machine Settings".
It works properly, using the standard interrupt mode (not enabling the I/O polling mode).
