Yeah I've got 1.9.3.2, have tried re installing it numerous times

Can you make sure that you have Mshldaq.dll and Daq.dll in the directory that you installed Mu to? There have been some antivirus programs that don't know about Mu and thus quarentines the dlls.

I had the same error. Root cause was I didn't have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Runtime installed.
Grab this and you are good to go ...
