Are we putting this on Drupal.org?

Thanks for creating this theme. However it is a huge drawback that this project isn't on Drupal.org.

I understand that you couldn't do that because you have included other third party libraries in the project. But perhaps you can find some other ways of including the libraries like other modules have done in the past? Or find some way to get around it, even if it means it is more difficult to set up?

There are many advantages to having the project on drupal.org, and it is just such a shame that a nice project like this isn't on it. It makes things like creating patches, dealing with issues, contribution, deployment awkward.

Or are you already working on plans to put this on Drupal.org?

Sorry if I sounded ungrateful. Just wanted to check the situation regarding this as well as leave a feedback in case you don't already know.

Thanks,
Victoria

I was about to make a suggestion/make a patch that would use composer to solve the licensing issues and make this module compliant with d.o site.
Hopefully I'll have some time this week to make it happen and have it ready for testing.

That sounds great! Thanks!

Sounds awesome too! 👍 Definitely like it to be approved on d.org and let more people contribute to improve the theme and its module.

I like the idea, but what would you suggest as far as a patch for the licensing issue? I have a sandbox of it that probably won't get approved until I move Bootstrap files out of it into a library. (which is yucky, because you should be able to access the mixins, and variables less files in bootstrap for configuration, and you should not edit a library.)

I'm open for any suggestions!

You might want to check out this initiative: drupal.org/node/1594508

edit: ah I saw you already did :)

Yep! :) They haven't really been updating it a whole lot, when they get time to work on it I'm hoping to contribute to it.
