Tray menu is bugged

Closed this issue · 4 comments

On Fedora 40 (Gnome 46), with the latest snap, when right-clicking the tray icon, I get this menu:

I want to set the dark mode, and when I understand the code, this is the place to do it. Manually editting the config.json and setting darkThemeInvert to true there, doesn't work.

please set the option in the menu, instead of editing the file.
i can only test linux mint, i test it, but i think it is working

as i tested:

it is working, it could be an upstream issue.

@p3x-robot, well, is there maybe a different way to set this? Why doesn't it work from the settings file? I can't set it with the menu since it isn't working here. I use several Electron apps and I never had this problem. I also see that the context menu looks a bit different in shape. Are you using a different context menu than the default? What can I do to test around with this?

there is not even a tray in Fedore 40 in defaults
