I'm always frustrated that I cannot find the instructions / help for the Data UI. Having to go back to the home screen seems like a waste of time.

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

I'd like to have an icon / tool button indicating "help" or instructions in the toolbar.

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

Maybe an overall app navigation drawer on the left hand side (hamburger menu) would be a good alternative.
