Bad UX: Button plot doesn't plot

What I did
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to search view
  2. Search for 'SINEG01.*CURR'
  3. Select a channel
  4. Click button "Plot"

What I observed

  • UI navigates to plot view (/plot)
  • An empty plot is drawn
  • I need to open the time range panel and click plot

What I expected to see instead

  • Draw the plot right away
