The book is excellent.
Would it make sense to mention the console build approach "dotnet build winforms -v q" which foregoes the friendly debugger but gives the advantage of a simple directory structure and a necessary and sufficient set of files? This newer build greatly reduces the *.csproj file to a few lines that could be explained in the book.
