Why has Block Site stopped working?

I am using windows 10 and Chrome browser.
I was using the Block site extension happily until the blocked site list was recently greyed out an I cannot now enter a new www.**** to it.
Please advise.

Can you please provide a screenshot or what browser are you using?
I have tried to block one www website and it works. But would like to find out the source of the problem.
