Does your library have resume support?

Yes it does. I use wget -c and curl -C which should ideally continue from where it's left off.
Let me know if it didn't work for you.

i guess the issue is from my side. the downloader created mp4 files that were 0kb in size. perhaps bad internet connection?

It happened to me a while ago and I fixed it. Can you try downloading again after doing a git pull.

i ran git pull origin master

navigate to Anime folder and run ./download.sh

curl is installed yes

i tried the link, it extracted in Uget and it worked fine. the file size is monstrous (500+mb) is there a way to determine filesize of anime, or select to download from a smaller mirror like chiaanime,

Twist.moe is the only site that this downloads from. It has very big videos. If you want to download from another sites use https://github.com/vn-ki/anime-downloader
