When I run this project , I find this error and cannot run it

Something strange.
I've added CI check on :app:assemble - it's working.
Maybe try clean and build again.

this is happening on Mac with M1 Chips

Could you try to update Gradle version and try if this helps?
Unfortunately, I'm still on Mac with Intel.
