Hi,
I am working on archlinux, and my device is HuaweiNova. By running the command simple-mtpfs -l
, I got the result of 1: HuaweiNova
. Then I tried to mount it with the command:
sudo chmod 755 /mnt
mkdir -p /mnt/data
simple-mtpfs --device 1 /mnt/data
ls /mnt/data
It is a pity that nothing listed in the directory of /mnt/data. What my operations are wrong please ?

So I just installed this program, after having trouble with “android-file-transfer”, and it worked perfect for me.
Try and follow the directions on the wiki, before doing all that fancy chmod of directories.
If it still doesn’t work, maybe give “android-file-transfer” a shot.
