Current implementation of removing previous highlights do not always successfully work.
Need to rethink functionality and make it easier.
Suggestion: a remove button should appear when mousing over the highlights.

New implementation with instant highlight when selection a of text is made, and removing a highlight by clicking on it solves this issue.
