Updating from 1.0.1 issue?

I'm on phpbb 3.2.5.

Trying to update from 1.0.1.

I'm following https://www.phpbb.com/extensions/installing/, this isn't my first rodeo.

mediaembed 1.0.1 doesn't show in acp/extensions, so there is no data to 'delete' per say.

So all I did was remove the old source in phpbb/ext/mediaembed, add the new one then unzip it.

When I goto the extensions page in 3.2.5 ACP, it returns an http error saying "is currently unable to handle this request.".

I didn't disable it first.

Fixed.
