- Yes, this is related to an Early Access Program feature.
Kindly describe the bug and include as much detail as possible on what you were doing so we can reproduce the bug.
I tried to take a screenshot and just do CTRL + V (or Super + V ) it didn't work. You can import screenshots from images that you have already saved.
Hey @innicoder - Thanks so much for sharing the issue here, so sorry you're running into issues with adding images.
To make sure I understand correctly, are you attempting to paste an image into the Saved Materials view of the desktop app? Or paste an image into the input of the Pieces Copilot? Or something different?
Next, your operating system is marked here as macOS - are you trying to Ctrl+V or Command+V or both?
Lastly, how are you copying the image? Via your macOS Finder window? via a desktop shortcut? Something different? Any additional info into your workflow here would be helpful.
I'm also happy to hop on a quick video call to chat live if that's easier. A link to my calendar can be found here where you can book time: https://calendar.app.google/8WBpvnAECkJAHJFj6
Thanks!
Thank you for considering this.
I typically use the built-in macOS screenshot feature by pressing Command + Shift + 5
(or a similar shortcut). I believe many others also use this method or external software to capture screenshots and save them to the clipboard.
To paste, I use Command + V
; on Windows, this would be Ctrl + V
. Most macOS users rely on the Command + C
and Command + V
combination for copy-pasting.
(I'd be happy to have a meet and share my thoughts)
