Managed Disks

Hey team. Generally we recommend customers use managed disks for their deployments. Can we update this template to not create so many storage accounts? Thanks.

We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this. Unfortunately, the Pivotal Tracker project is private so you may be unable to view the contents of the story.
The labels on this github issue will be updated when the story is started.
@genevieve do you have a timeline when this will get implemented? Just checking in, not a priority.
Hey Mike, sorry for the delay. I think we decided to hold off on making that change to these templates because of the changes that would cause to downstream teams that are coupled to these storage accounts.
If you make a PR to swap the storage accounts that can be managed disks, we can review it and start making changes to downstream team's pipelines!
Hey Mike, are you planning on submitting a PR for using managed disks where possible or should we close this issue?
@genevieve I wasn't planning on it, but if you want me to, I will take a look at what it takes, though.
